Took me a while to get this done, in between sneezes and Kleenex "breaks". I made my ATC by painting it black, then swiping blue and green acrylics across it. All the stamps are from Lavinia. Thanks for looking!
Lynn, thank you for your concerns re: the earthquake, fortunately I live in the south of the North Island of NZ and the disaster is in Christchurch in the South Island. Such devastation, lives lost, many missing, some liken it to the London Blitz of WW11. Your art piece certainly is 'magic' the door in the tree, what a story could be told!
Lynn, I do love the way you made your background, starting with black and swiping the colors over. That sounds like my kind of fun. This is really an interesting, even intriguing door. Makes me curious as to where it leads.
Born and raised a city girl (Chicago). Now I live 23 miles south of D.C. Have loved art all my life. Primarily self taught. Raised 3 sons solo and they are my pride and joy. I have a 7 yr old granddaughter and a 2 year old grandson. They are the apples of my eye, and I hope they will love art as I do.

That's a fantastic image, wonderful door.
It's fab - what a great technique!
Fabulous piece, Lynn!
pretty, the background is great!
Your door is really magical! Love it.
This is beautiful Lynn. I love how the door reminds me of a door in a tree trunk (in one of my childhood story books).
Sorry I am late with my comment, Lynne. Your door piece is beautiful. I love the door stamp and the background is fantastic. Great work.
