Preparing for Surgery

I haven't been around much, nor have I been able to do much art. First of all, my son is in the midst of reformatting this old ancient PC and my scanner/printer is disabled. But more importantly, I'm having stomach surgery on 12/30 and have been running to more doctors than you can shake a stick at getting medical clearance. And don't you know, each specialist has required tests upon tests. If ever I am stopped for a traffic violation and the cops get a look at my arms, I'll probably be under suspicion as a druggie!!! My fair skin stays bruised for a long time, so I get to see a lot of interesting colors! Anyway, I think I'll only be in the hospital a day or two after surgery, so anyone reading this, send me some good vibes! I hope to spend my recovery making up for lost time and resting!!!

Gothic Arches - Snowflakes

I haven't played here for a while. I used the evergreens from Artistic Outpost's "Sleigh Ride" and snowflakes from TechniquesTuesday. I stamped the trees with Hippo Gray and then with Evergreen. I tried using silver for the snowflakes, but didn't really care for it, so I switched to a snowflake embossing powder. Hope you like it!

Christmas Cone

Here's a Santa Cone I made with images from Moonlight Journey. I intend to use it instead of a box for a gift for my best friend who lives in Chicago.

Sunday Postcard Art - Toys

SPA is introducing holiday themes, and this one is Toys. I thought what better than a doll waiting to go to her real life girl? I know she's a little anxious, waiting in Toyland, to be loaded on Santa's sleigh. I think the little girl will be very happy to welcome her new dolly!
