Sorry I'm late with mine...I used my mom and dad's wedding photo. They married as he was preparing to deploy to Italy on board ship during World War II. I wanted to use some of his poetry he wrote to her while on board ship, but it is so very faded, I didn't want to expose it as it's written in pencil, too. I can barely read it as it is, and not sure how to preserve what's left!

How beautiful, Lynn!
Its very romantic!
Thank you for sharing this very personal bit of your history. I wish I could tell you how to preserve the pencil-written poems. How lucky you are to have them! This is a wonderful heritage page.
What a great ATC and I love the personal touch with the history. It would be such a shame to lose the poetry, have you tried googling for a preservation method
Loved your wedding couple before I read it was your Mom and Dad...beautiful Lynn.
I would scan the poems...you could at least try and darken them to read them.

Hi Lynn, you were not as late with your entry as I am with my comment for your most beautiful artpiece. My apologies.
I love how you have used the photo of your parents' wedding day. The whole effect is gorgeous. Thanks so much for taking part in the challenge this week.
Lynn..there is an archival spray to preserve paper. If you still need something, let me know and I'll try to find it! Ann
