I was inspired by my neighbor's dogs...two little fellows I've dubbed "The Nutsy Brothers". Chihuahuas are, well, talkative. I love to see my 107 lb lab walk the fence with them on the other side carrying on like a couple of goofballs...they shake and shiver so hard, I fear for them! And my Oliver is just as calm and laid back as they come. But, I swear, I see a smile on his face every time. I rather think he enjoys being the cause of their frantic antics!

It is so cute. The depth is amazing and so are the colors. Great work!
I'd love to see those doggy antics. Your piece is great fun.
Wow, the colors in this are gorgeous, Lynn. Our lab, now waiting for us at the rainbow bridge, just loved other dogs. She would get so excited when we met dogs on our walks. Sometimes the other dogs weren't so happy, but that never deterred her from prancing around excitedly right to the end. I'm glad you featured a dog in your art. I'm just sorry I didn't think of doing a doggie piece, too.
That little yapper wouldn't recognize himself now! Thanks for the smile, and thanks for the doggy story! We're glad you joined our challenge this week.
This is so cute and you have captured the nature of these little dogs perfectly Lynn- what fun!
He is a sweet little angel
Good on Oliver is what I would say, giving the two little yappies next door so much to talk about! I love your interpretation Lynn. Gorgeous.

A great story, Lynn. Maybe you could take a photo of the nervous chihuahuas and your gorgeous dog one of these days (to share with your blogger friends).
