Three Muses - Nature

Here's my nature piece done with chalk inks for the background and Pipe DreamInk embossing enamels, B-Muse embossing powder, cardinals image from Kloud 9 Creations, Autumn Leaves clear stamps from a sale table at Jo-Ann's, and I think that's it! It's not the piece I wanted to do, but the one that came out...now that I'm able to sit for longer periods at the "big" computer, the son is going to install Photoshop and I'm going to try to learn how to use it! I love all the beautiful art pieces I see many of the artists doing, and I'd like to give it a go. I suspect I'll be slower cause I still can't stay seated here as long as I think it will take. Who knew getting old(er), having surgery and still having some muscle issues would make life so frustrating. I don't even feel really retired yet...I'm still limited a bit, but now I'm whining! I shall get to the other side soon! See, I'm a work in progress! :o)

I love your description of yourself as a work-in-progress. You are amazing and I am so in awe that you are taking on Photoshop - something which I have chickened out on for a very long time.
Lynn, your Muses piece is gorgeous. I love the birds and your artwork is fantastic - as always. Thanks so much for supporting our challenge.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog and the lovely comments. I don't know how to use Photoshop yet either... I'm using Powerpoint for the time being until I learn Photoshop. Love your Nature collage... The embossing creates such wonderful finishes. And your Exotic ATC is very nice. I did Geishas too! Mine are digital... I've been doing alot of digital lately. I'm so tired when I get home I don't feel like dragging everything out...lol!

Love your piece - it is so soft and gentle. Glad to hear you are getting your strength back and recovering - won't photoshop be fun? I plan on trying to master it when I retire too - hope this old dog can learn new tricks! Cheers!
