Take a Word - Green

I've been away from Blogland for a while.  Was in Oklahoma, had to pack up my stuff and come home to Virginia where I had to unpack (horrors, I shipped home an 18 cube box I'm afraid to open now...have to find room for all the goodies inside!  LOL!) Anyway, one of my promises for the new year was fewer doctor appointments - last year was pretty incredible, but that's what happens when you get old...ah, older...anyway, something that's been with me for a while decided it really wanted attention. I have bilateral spurring in my cervical spine. One doc told me I'd be paralyzed, that was back in 2006. However, mix it with arthritis, it is not a great feeling. While in Oklahoma, my migraines saw fit to return. Now, we don't know what's what and we're trying to sort it out. So, besides my GP, I saw my neurologist and will have an MRI and we'll go from there.  This getting older business isn't for sissies!  LOL!  Anyway, I've been neglecting my art to a fare-thee-well and really feel awful.  So, here I am again...hoping a wee bit of luck rubs off from this Irish lad.  The image comes from Moonlight Journey and the tag will be used for a bookmark swap I'm hosting on Altered Designs.  Now, I have to catch up with everyone!  Missed you all!

thanks for your comments Lynn, have altered my background yet again, this time I think it's ok..

nice to see you back, although not nice to hear your health issues - I do hope you get them sorted and agree 100 per cent that getting older is certainly not for sissies - that said, your health certainly does not impair your crafty ideas, love your Irish themed tag/bookmark xx

I do hope Lynn your medical issues are not as dire as they say they could be. I used to suffer from migrianes (sp?) as well but the up side of getting older was they mostly went away when I hit menopause. Maybe some Irish luck will come your way and things will get better and not worse.

So sorry about your health Lynn! It's hard to think that cute little girl has now got all these troubles. I guess we all have something horrible as we get older. Keep smiling dear. Your art is delicious so that' a big plus!! xx
