Be Still

I saw a beautiful piece done in the current issue of "Sew" magazine. I knew it would be a perfect gift for my dearest friend. I'm really awful with sewing, so I decided to try to do it all with paper and ink. So "Be Still and Know That I Am God" is done, except to make holes for the hanger and to attach some ribbons and beads at the bottom. I'm happy with the way it turned out

The little black capped chickadee looks so sweet in the piece you created Lynn = SO lovely !!
I have never been much of a seamstress, but I have enjoyed sewing paper and fabric on my machine. Not worrying about sewing a straight line and just having fun with it has made a huge difference for me. I still end up using a little glue it seems to tack things on here and there.
What a very special gift you've made!
